Biography
Dr Yeung-Ae Park is an Australian-trained endocrinologist and Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians. She completed her medical and endocrinology specialty training in Melbourne, including at the Royal Melbourne Hospital, Eastern Health and Monash Health, and has undertaken further academic training in clinical research through Harvard Medical School.
Dr Park is completing a PhD at the Royal Melbourne Hospital, Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre and the University of Melbourne, where her research focuses on pituitary tumours and improving the diagnosis and treatment of pituitary disease. Her research has been presented nationally and internationally and has received support through competitive academic scholarships, including an NHMRC Postgraduate Scholarship and MACH-Track Scholarship.
She provides comprehensive endocrine care, with particular expertise in pituitary disorders, and consults in multidisciplinary pituitary clinics at the Royal Melbourne Hospital and Melbourne Private Hospital. She serves on the Medical Advisory Committee of the Australian Pituitary Foundation and co-leads the Australian arm of the international PRolaCT-O clinical study investigating treatments for prolactinomas.
